Spend a night or a week at the Parkhotel Tosch during your travel in western Bohemia. This 3 star District of Klatovy hotel is located in the town of Kasperske Hory, approx. a 30 minute drive from Sumava National Park. The Parkhotel Tosch was originally a brewery constructed at the start of the 14th century. The brewery stayed in business until July of 1947. After falling into disrepair, it was fully renovated for use as the Czech Republic’s first wellness hotel. Today guests enjoy the hotel’s two restaurants, a wine bar, small conference rooms, and breakfast cafe. Among the popular sights in the area are Kasperk Castle, Velhartice Castle, and the city of Pilsen (Plzen in Czech), birthplace of Pilsener (or pilsner) beer. Kasperske Hory is approx. 150 km/93.2 miles from Prague.
